What Does the Bible Say About
Repentance?
Repentance is a turning from the world to God.
Acts 26:20
but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and
throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that
they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting

change of heart which results in a change of actions. This
change must involve both a turning from the habitual practice of a
sinful life and a turning toward God and His righteousness.
