The church of Christ in Rajanagaram:
Rajanagaram
is a small remote village with a population of about 2500
people. It is located in the Tallurimandal, Prakasam
district in Andhra Pradesh. There are denominational
organizations working in this village, But the
majority of them worship the Hindu God Rama. There is
a small Hindu temple located within this village.
There are people from all the casts living there.
Rajanagaram
is located about 75 kilometers from Narasaraopet where
Esudas lives. Converts travel to gullkamm Canal 10
kilometers away to be baptized. The new congregation
of the church of Christ was started with three
baptisms in one day. Subbayamma, Bullemmain and Yahanu
put the Lord on in baptism and were added to the church by
God. Subbayamma and Bullemmai are from Hindu families
and Yohanu is from a Lutheran mission background.
Brother Esudas has
instructed
Brother Yahanu on how to conduct worship and is teaching him
in New Testament Christianity. There are some other
responses and Esudas is planning to visit this village often
to help them evangelize and strengthen them in the Lord.
