			 All Men To Be
			Saved
			Introduction:
			Christ purchased
the church with his blood and he wants it to carry out his will on
earth, 1 Timothy 2: 4.  God has given us this responsibility and we
			must take it seriously.
			This was originally
commissioned to his apostles and then to the whole church, Matthew
28: 18-20.  The primary emphasis is on the command to ”make
disciples”.  This disciple making begins by being baptized. Then
disciples are be taught to “observe all things that I have commanded
you.”  Jesus wants his disciples to go and seek out others for
discipleship. These new disciples are to come from “all nations".
See mark 16: 15.  What will help us to fulfill our responsibility?

			1.
Realizing the importance of a lost soul

			·
The value of a soul, (Mark 8:
36-37).  Nothing is more important than the soul that God has given
man. We know what will happen at death, (Ecclesiastes 12: 7).  And
we know we will all stand before the judgment seat, (Hebrews 9: 27).

			·
It is sad to see what many in
the world have traded for their souls, (Matthew 6: 19).  Money,
jobs, education, prestige, entertainment... We as the church should
do all we can to help people understand this world is passing away,
2 Peter 3: 10-12. One day will be the last day.

			2.
Realizing the importance of your own
			soul

			·
note the words of God to the
wealthy farmer in Luke 12: 20.  We must always be ready for the
return of Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5: 2.  Also we must constantly be
on guard against Satan who wants to destroy our soul, (ephesian 6:
			11 and 1 Peter 5: 8).

			·
One of our best resources to
withstand the devil is to abide in God's word. Christ used scripture
to combat Satan in the wilderness, (Matthew 4: 4).  This is a
powerful method to resist Satan, (James 4: 7).

			3.
			Realizing the importance of love

			·
the world should see the love of
God manifested in his church, (1 Corinthians 13: 3).  If we don't
have love in carrying out his mission for the church, we have
			failed.

			·
			The apostle Paul understood the
need to tell others the good news, (2 Corinthians 5: 9-11; 14-20).
A day of judgment was coming for every individual. Paul loved to the
souls of men so much he vigorously taught the gospel wherever he
			could.

			4.
			Conclusion

			·
if we really desire all men to
be saved, here are four things that can help

			·
			invite people into our homes,
			(Acts 5: 42)

			·
			extend Christian hospitality,
(Hebrews 13: 2).  Take someone a meal, send them a comma mow their
			grass.

			·
			Be a good listener, (colossians
4: 6).  Ask about them and their family. Especially listen for
things that may help during a Bible study.

			·
Focus on Christ and the cross.
Not on millennial theories, miracles,... (1 Corinthians 1: 18)
