Hafa Adai from Saipan. We have had a good month in the CNMI.
We continue to have the regular Thursday night studies with
about eight people in attendance. In addition, we have been
having ongoing studies with members and some of their family
members who are not Christians.
With thankfulness to God, we were able to go to Tinian for an
evangelistic effort. In addition to my family, we had three
members of the Saipan church of Christ work with us. We were
able to door knock the entire Marpo Valley which is where sister
Herme Omengkar’s son Freddie lives.

During the door knocking, we went house to house (Acts 20:20)
inviting people to worship, offering Bible studies, and
correspondence course studies. We were very pleased with the
reception for a first time effort. We had seven people sign up
for the correspondence course which we prepared and mailed the
Monday we got back from Tinian. We also held, to our knowledge,
the first worship service of the Lord’s church on Tinian.
Please pray with us that those we met will have a sincere
interest in the God’s Word.

Brother Boyet Cabaluna,
our local preacher, and I went back to Tinian for a second door
knocking and to have worship services. We were able to canvass
a section of Marpo Heights and were able to enroll an additional
seven correspondence students. We were also able to have a
very good study with Sallie Panis, a friend of sister Minda
Barbo.
We are planning a third trip for August 8, 9 & 10th. It is our
intention, Lord willing, to concentrate our efforts on Tinian
from now until the end of the year. Please join us by offering
up your prayers for open hearts and open opportunities.

While
door knocking in Tinian, we saw this group of children playing.
They have become the symbol for our desire. There is no church on
Tinian, and without this effort they and their parents will never
have the opportunity to obey the gospel of our LORD Jesus and become
Christians. Rota, likewise, has no church and no opportunity
